I find them a bit too frosty - especially the TBS Moonlight Lusture Eyeshadow Trio - but they are very smooth, pigmented, and overall quite awesome.  My favorite among the two would be the brown trio - TBS Sundown Glow Eyeshadow Trio.  Which is your favorite Bodyshop eyeshadow?

  3. And use a matte shadow in the crease close to your skin colour - that'll soften the edges and tone down the shimmer :)

  4. Ok...that might just work...I find these a bit too shimmery :D

  5. Heya,
    Feel like selling them? :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well actually I was trying to tempt a certain someone into taking them, but they would be free. They are used trios and I couldn't really sell them - I don't feel comfortable - especially since I went all over the known blog-world telling I don't like them :D :D :D :D

  7. I get you girl. I have stuff like this lying around too. Sometimes I am pretty convinced I have dementia - coz even I don't understand why I bought, what I bought..

The sunglow one honestly, is workable for night. I guess u cld use it like that, or dilute it in foundation / lotion and use the dark bronzy shade as illuminator for body.

  8. Wowww...Tanveer...that's pretty creative :-) Yaaa...I should not be allowed to go into shops with any form of money..and maybe mouth taped shut cos I might try begging the SA for the pretty makeup :D :D

The sundown glow is a beautiful trio!!! use it Rads!!!! you've got so many suggestions here....and if you dont plan to still use it I think u shud sell it off...no point hoarding it na

    ReplyDelete
  34. I loved the moonlight luster!!...You can use some combination with other stuffs to get the perfect shade and blend for you. I sometimes do the same with many of my stuffs, when I don't find them useful enough!! :/

    ReplyDelete
  35. he he he..you can gift them tome Rads!! I stay so close you you!! :P :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. Gosh!!What english was that..dumb!! guess the beauties above made me too spellbound!!lol :P

  37. HD - Ya I will use the brown trio and the green one will go to a loving home somewhere else :D :D

    ReplyDelete
  38. Cali - I could have saved on postage had you told me before..but anyways, this was like my "makeup detox" as Jane said in her article :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. he he..yeah..I read that article and I guess it doesn't make much difference to me, since I am just starting with make-up stuff. As a matter of fact it was really good to learn such things in starting. But, I have my own strategy of spending money on make up. For instance, the thing she talked about having a fixed budget for month, I do the same. And most importantly, I always go for make-up or certain luxury shopping towards the end of the month, when I am sure that I have some savings from my monthly budget and I wont be feeling too guilty in spending them! :P..

    ReplyDelete
  40. Thats ok!!..I was a bit late. But, I am always open to other giveaways!!!..lol!! :P :P :P

    ReplyDelete
  41. I liked that - save the shopping for the end of the month. That's my major problem..I spend and spend at the beginning of the month and then it gets difficult to sit quietly for the rest of the days :D I should do that..wait until the month is at least half over before I even hit a counter.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ohhh nooo Cali..this was not a giveaway of any sort at all. I was actually trying to convince Ikky she should take them...and she was trying to be really good and saying ke she doesnt want them. Apparently, now she is shameless and wants them...hehehehee

    ReplyDelete
  43. Uh-oh..hope the ogre doesn't see this...hehehheheee

    ReplyDelete
  44. That works amazingly Rads..Know what? last month due to this technique, I even saved some stuff to get a Thai foot reflexology massage and a rejuvenating massage at Ayush therapy center as additional bonus!! he he...Just try this thing, fix a date, when you wanna go for cosmetics shopping (non- essential ones, like the ones you don't need but just want to experiment with) :P...For essential ones, I'd just don't go to malls. Buy them from the local pharmacy, that way you wouldn't get tempted. I follow the same and till now it has been working quite well!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ayush? How is it? Always wanted to try it...which one do you go to...and yes I ask wayyyy too many questions :D :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thats ok! :) I got this Thai foot Reflexology done at "Body and Soul" on 80 feet koramangla road. It is just above the Reliance footprint. I loved it, it was soft and soothing. I even wrote a post on it!!

I went to the Koramangla center of Ayush. Ayush Therapy center rejuvenating massage was way too harsh. I mean I was literally grilled by the attendant. They might have broken almost all of my muscle blocks in that 45 minutes massage. Moreover, their oil smelled very strongly of camphor (I might be wrong, and it might be some other herb). After 45 minutes massage, they give 15 minutes of full body steam, and it was like heaven, soothing all the aching muscles!!....The massage is a bit grueling, but helps you relax and sooth your body afterwards.

  47. Tx Cali..am going to go check both..:D

    ReplyDelete
  48. Where did you post your article...could you leave a link for me please?

    ReplyDelete

    hope it helps!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. The thai foot reflexology at Body and Soul costed around 900 bucks for 40 min, along with the thai tea!! :P

Ayush therapy full body massage for 1 hour with steam will cost some 800 bucks

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thats not bad..its not like I am going to go for something like this every single day.

    ReplyDelete
  52. :) ..yeah!! I am planning to go again this month end!! he he..

    ReplyDelete

    *sob sob sob*

    ReplyDelete
  58. Cali...are there any tipping rules/etiquette for the place? You were a newbie...I would be an ignorant newbie :-(( :-((

    ReplyDelete
  59. HD - :-(( :-(( but thats a nice idea naaa...unannounced giveaway..then I shall have ppl stalking my blog every day...I would be a blog celebrity..I would be floating in clouds of pink glitter...How do I put an evil smiley here...I need a blog design consultant before I can become a celebrity :-(( :-((

    ReplyDelete
  60. I don't think they have any rules for tips!!..It used to be like that in US, but the parlor where I used to go was smart enough to calculate the tip and add in the final bill!! :P..so I didn't have spend my mind in calculations!..
Apart from that, for thai foot reflexology wear some loose trousers instead of jeans, as the massage goes from toes to feet to knees. And, nevertheless keep your legs waxed!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hahahahaa...I thought of the waxing thing when I was reading you article. I shall go wearing uber loose patialas :D Oh okk..maybe they have a service charge kind...but tx for the info :D

    ReplyDelete
  62. For Ayush therapy, you have to get out of all your clothes..lol...and literally means all!!!... They just give one small cloth to tie around your waist, which also goes off, once they start massaging.. That is the only disclaimer!! :P

    ReplyDelete
  63. ROTFL...I think it will be a while before I go to Ayush...I don't want to scare the poor therapist...Oh gooodnesss...I am laughing so much here ..disclaimer..:D :D :D

    ReplyDelete
  64. yeah..that was one kind of shock I received when I went there. They place so pretty pics on leader boards with models wearing that red colored velvet towel kinda stuff around their privates!! I thought it will be same way for me too. But, when I went in, the girl just gave me one handkerchief kinda stuff to wear, instead of all those exotic towels to wear..and I was left wondering what to do with it!! So you see, it might be a shocker to the first timers there!.. Anyways, I feel they can not grill a person with 1KG of oil who is covered with soft towels, so that handkerchief also makes some sense! :P Truly said - "Dikhaawe pe mat jaao, apni akal lagaao" ..:D

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hahahahahhaaaaa...sorry Cali...I am going to keep laughing whenever I see you on IMBB now...heheheheheee...is so funny...but its so good you try out all these things :) All I do is stare at the posters :-((

    ReplyDelete
  66. he he!! :)..that is ok! Atleast the girl didn't break my bone or gave me any cramp. I came out alive, I am happy for that!! :P :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. hahahaahahahhahahhahhahahahahahahahahahah

    ReplyDelete
  68. Rads, the sunglow one is a beautiful thing........and Ikky, I hope that courier never reaches you, may it fall into an open septic tank en route delivery :).

And Ikky, on second thoughts, I think, I could strike a better deal with you.....if you could write an open love letter to Wilbur on behalf of Rads, I would give you the Ginseng Fairness cream..:)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ikky taking the green one ..not sundown glow ...hehehheeee..where is she tho..missing for some time..
