The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Hand Cream

The Body Shop Cranberry Joy hand cream is a product I usually see in TBS stores around Christmas time.  The bright red coloured packaging and the sharp berry fragrance makes this a perfect fit for the Holiday season.  I picked this up on a discount very recently and is the first proper hand cream I am trying.

The TBS Cranberry Joy Hand cream comes packaged in a bright red tube - am pretty sure the colour has something to do with why this landed up in my shopping basket.  The flip-open packaging is simple and quite safe to carry around in the bag.  The cap is quite secure and you won't have a hand cream explosion in your bag - at least, I haven't had one so far :)

My Experience with TBS Cranberry Joy Handcream

The cream itself has a pinkish tint to it, though it isn't seen in the photo below.  It has a sharp sweet smell of berries, and I haven't made up my mind on whether I like it or not.  If you do want to buy this, do check a tester/sample for the smell.  It spreads quite easily, and I needed lesser quantity than with the Vaseline cream.  It gets absorbed quite fast - there is a bit of greasiness to start with but that disappears soon enough and you won't have to worry about leaving tell-tale finger prints on anything and everything you touch :P  I need to reapply about every 4-5 hours, but I do get my hands in water quite often.  The good thing I did notice about the cream was my hands don't as dry as they normally would after a spell in water.

Overall, I would categorize this as a light hand cream, that does a good job of moisturizing my hands, but I would definitely recommend something heavier for maybe the night or if your hands get a whole lot of washing through the day.  The smell is a bit strong, and I would strongly suggest checking before buying.

Now the fault with the cream:  Cost:  Rs. 345/35 g.  I picked it up at a 50% discount.  It is a little too expensive (the quantity could be a bit more), and I don't think I would picking this up again.
