Khaki-Brown EOTD

Disclaimer:  I don't know if anyone has used the exact same colours, very possible that it's there somewhere already on the world wide web, but any EOTD I try is inspired by (or perhaps copied from :P) everyone who does eye makeup posts/videos.

I still don't know how to use shadows properly, but since I have so many I bought impulsively, I decided I will try and post, so I can learn.

Here's what I did:
  • Applied Lakme Black Satin Kajal as a base all over my eyelid.
  • Inglot Pearl 423 (1) all over the eyelid - just short of crease.
  • Inglot Pearl 419 (2) in the inner corner.  Blend with brown shadow.
  • Inglot AMC 63 (3) a little bit of the outer corner and blended.
  • Used Chanel Mat Lumiere powder to blend the crease area.
  • Used AMC Shine 30 (4) on the brow bone - kind of pointless with my eyebrows being the way they are right now!
  • Used Max Factor Kohl in Black to line lower waterline and tightlining.
  • Applied Inglot AMC 63 (black eyeshadow) along the lower lashline.
  • NYX eyeliner (not in pic) - upper lash line.
  • Finished with YSL Faux Cils Mascara (Noir Radical).  No lash curler yet, me just too scared of it :P

While all that might look nice in the photo above, what I did come up with was this.

Not really a bad hair day - that would look worse :|

This was the only useful (!?) thing I did since morning, and the effort made me quite hungry so we went out for lunch :D :D Normal Indian food, but I didn't have to cook it or wash the dishes later!  Tried clicking snaps on the way back, because a full tummy makes for better pics, but that theory didn't work today...

Needless to say, another of my offs wasted.  Back to work tomorrow.  For anyone interested, swatches of Inglot eyeshadows here.

  5. The eye makeup look nice and you're looking great! You look like you're going somewhere fancy not returning. What are you wearing on your lips (I'm guessing some of it accompanied your food in :P or did you do a touch up? )
