The Body Shop Passionfruit Body Scrub (Review)

TBS Passion Fruit Body Scrub - Ground corncob amd kiwi seeds do the scrubbing. Passion fruit seed oil and panthenol for skin smoothing.

This is another TBS product that I got from my sister (no, she is not the generous sister - she didn't want it, I think), and I quite like this one.  With a fruity smell this jam-like yummy scrub is difficult not to like!

The scrub has some large particles scattered throughout, but the scrubbing power is from very small grandules that make up the majority of the scrub.   The granules are finer and smoother than the ones in the TBS Cranberry Joy Body Scrub.  It's easy enough to use - take the appropriate amount and scrub gently.  Wash off to smooth skin.  Despite their fine size the granules do a good job, so don't get tempted to apply too much pressure while scrubbing.  It leaves a faint fruity smell on the skin - very faint - and it disappears by the time I am done with my body lotion (never skip moisturizing after a scrub unless it is an oil-based scrub like this one from Thann).

So yes, I like the Bodyshop Passion Fruit Body Scrub a lot, but I am quite unsure where to buy it from if I do want to repurchase.  Also, the ingredient list shows sunscreen -  Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) (Sunscreen) - not quite sure why TBS has put that in the scrub.  I suppose, if you do want to scrub at the beach, you don't have to worry about sun protection :D

TBS Passionfruit Body Scrub (available here) - Cost:  £ 12.50/200 mL

  39. YUM, this looks gorgeous!! I love The Body Shop! A couple of years ago, I received a "Merry Cranberry" set for winter holiday, and I was hooked. :) My favorite product from TBS is the Moroccan Rose Body Spray, so fresh and lovely smelling, and the small bottle is the perfect size for my purse.
