Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips (Review/Swatches)

I have oily-combination skin and am plagued with the usual problem associated with this skin type - enlarged pores, occasional acne, and blemishes.  Thankfully, I don't have that much of a problem with blackheads and manage with scrubs and masks, but every once in a while I like to try out pore cleansing strips.  Up until now, though, I haven't found any that are worth wasting money on.  Last week, I tried out the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, and here's my review.

Each pack contains 14 individually packed strips.  Pretty easy to use, each strip is fixed to a clear cellophane strip - peel off and apply on to wet skin.

I used it exactly as instructed.  Wet my nose and apply the strip.  Make sure the strip is completely in contact with skin.  Wait for about 10-15 minutes for the strip to dry.  Peeling off is a bit uncomfortable for me (I have a similar reaction to peel-off masks).  As per instructions, I just dampen the strip a bit to help get it off.  I follow this up with a moisturizer to relive the slight burning sensation on my skin.  As for blackheads, what blackheads???!!  This really does leave the skin looking noticeably clearer and definitely does work.

I finally found a blackhead removal strip/pore cleansing strip  that actually works!  Leaves my skin much smoother and cleaner looking.  I would use this about twice a month at most - because I don't have much of a blackhead problem and I do have slightly sensitive skin.  Biore also makes an Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips for the more stubborn blackheads and a combo pack which has strips for the nose and other areas of the face like forehead or chin, both of which I have not tried.

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips (available here) - Cost about $7.00
