TBS Bodyshop Cassis Rose Womens Perfume Fragrance Eau De Toilette Reviews Ingredients makeup beauty skincare blog

This was a gift from my sister, and I have the EDT version of this fragrance.  Lacking the creative writing genius that Bodyshop has, I would just describe this as "smells just like a rose."  If you have ever smelled fresh roses in the early morning air, that would be the smell to associate TBS Cassis Rose with - except, this is a bit stronger.  The initial notes do seem a bit sweet but get a bit more rounded with the muskiness that comes on as the fragrance dies down.  The predominant note, though, for me is definitely the rose.

I need to use a very light hand with this perfume, and the little that I spray on lasts forever.  While I don't really like strong perfumes, I love using this on days when I know I am going to be out all day, especially in a hot, Indian climate.  I can definitely count on coming back home smelling like a bunch of roses :D

Ingredients:  Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Aqua (Water) (Solvent/Diluent), Parfum (Fragrance), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (Fragrance Ingredient), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Alpha-Iso

If you don't mind floral, stronger fragrances and/or are on the lookout for a rose-smelling, long-lasting perfume that won't kill your wallet, this would be a good buy.  I do think this is a discontinued item, though!
