I got to try out 4 shades from the Wet n Wild Silk Finish lipsticks, and they are a mixed bunch.  First off, they are some of the most inexpensive makeup options available, and with a pricetag of around $1, there's not much one can criticize in these lipsticks.  That said, here's my though on the ones I tried:
  • I found that the frosty shades were patchy in their application.  I found that spreading it with a lip brush after applying it on the lips, sorted out the patchiness (not applying with a brush since the colour doesn't get picked up by the brush).
  • Overall, though, I liked the glossy shades way more - they go on smooth, and can be worn sheerer or layered for more colour.
  • No dry lips with any of these shades which is a big plus point.
  • They stay on a good 2-3 hours and leave a stain behind as they fade (except for Dark Berry Frost which seemed to disappear easier).

This is how they look on me - I have changed the colour a bit to show the lipstick colour better.  It's been a dull, grey, cloudy, pitter-patter rainy day and the lighting has been just awful.

Dark Berry Frost - a berry pink with beautiful golden shimmer.  While I thought it was the prettiest colour in the tube, when it comes to performance on the lips it's quite underwhelming.
It goes on patchy and quite sheer.  The best way to get this pretty colour to show up
would be to use it over a darker lipliner/lipstick.

Light Pink Frost - True to it's name, the colour is a hot bright pink with fine shimmer mixed in.
Similar to the previous lipistick, probably because of the shimmer, this too goes on patchy,
though the colour shows up better.  Not a colour I could carry off
but someone younger probably  would love this - reminds me of Barbie :D

Dark Wine - Looks like a deep dark wine colour in the tube, but goes on as a sheer smooth lighter colour.  It's a little darker than what it looks in the photo, and I will try to do a better photo some other time, but it really is a very pretty colour which would suit just about any skin tone.

Hot Red - A pretty red with a hint of pink in it (a raspberry red??), this one was a bit of a surprise to me.  Not a person
who would ever try a red, this one makes me want to try reds.  It's bright and makes my face look awake.
Since it is so bright, I would keep the rest of the makeup minimal.
Overall, one of the most wallet-friendly lipsticks, and you don't have to worry about dried lips.  That's a winning combination in my book.  There are a lot of shades in this range, and you would definitely find something that would work for you.   Personally, I find this an inexpensive way to try out colours out of my usual comfort zone.

Wet n Wild SilkFinish lipsticks cost about $1 and are available in most drugstores and online.
