Burt's Bees Peppermint Foot lotion - natural formula with peppermint oil and parsley leaf to refresh and soothe tired feet
What I love a lot about Burt's Bees is that they have a lot of travel size and kits available which make it easy to try out so many of their products and deciding whether or not to buy the full size version. I got the Burt's Bees Peppermint Foot Lotion in one of these kits (Burt's Bees Head To Toe Kit). The Peppermint Foot Lotion claims to freshen and soothe tired feet with peppermint oil and parsley leaf extracts, and while I prefer heavier creams for my feet, I had no problems giving this a try.
The lotion comes packaged in a simple tube that reminded me of toothpaste packaging. I guess the peppermint smell did add to the idea.
The lotion itself is not quite lotiony - I don't know if it was just the tube I got, but it had separated a bit into a thin watery portion and a thicker paste like portion. I did try shaking the tube a bit to mix up the product, but it didn't seem to help much. Not really a problem as they mix up while applying, but I would have preferred it was all mixed up in the tube itself. Again, it might be just the tube I got.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BURT'S BEES PEPPERMINT FOOT LOTION:This lotion is named quite aptly - the first thing I noticed about it is the blast of peppermint smell. It's quite strong, kind of like a minty toothpaste, and while usually it's not something I like in anything other than a toothpaste, for some reason I didn't mind it in a foot lotion. It definitely should help freshen tired feet. The lotion itself is quite light - it spreads easily and gets absorbed in a jiffy. It does leave my feet moisturized the whole day, and I really wasn't expecting much considering this feels so light. There is no cooling or tingling sensation to the lotion, only the peppermint blast.
BURT'S BEES PEPPERMINT FOOT LOTION INGREDIENTS
This is a nice, light lotion that works great at keeping feet fresh and moisturized. It might be perfect for the summers, but it is not too bad at the keeping my feet soft even in the winters. The strong peppermint smell does mean that I have to wash my hands after I am done applying the foot lotion, though.
