Rimmel's first creamy powder eyeshadow with Velvet-HD technology creates colour that looks perfect under any light. Prismatic pigments catch light at multiple angles, reflecting the ideal colour for the light you are in. Unique palettes of 4 shades expertly coordinated to work in sequence, adapting as light changes to give perfectly complementary effect in any light. Crease-proof colour lasts all day.
The Rimmel Glam'Eyes HD Eyeshadows are available in about 8 shades, and I got to try out two of them - the gray/black/silver combination "Black Cab" and the brown/bronze combination "English Oak." The first thing I noticed about these palettes is, of course, the Union Jack pattern to the eye shadows. I loved the design right up until I realized none of the brushes I have are small enough to pick up the shadow without messing up the design. Each quad (or Jack :P) also comes with instructions on how to use the colours - a tiny diagram detailing the placement of each colour.

My Thoughts on the Rimmel Glam'Eyes HD EyeshadowsI love the colour combinations in both these quads - perfectly complimented shades that would work easily together - and the compact size makes it ideal for travel. Because of the texture of the eyeshadows and the pattern, the sponge applicators provided are actually quite useful with application. I wish the little patches of colour were a little larger, though, just so they would be a little easier to use. Also, the colours are all a tad shimmery and adding a darker matte shade would have been great.
