Blue-Brown Smokey Eye and Coral Lips - 4 Easy Steps

What does a girl stuck with boring work do when the sleep-bug bites?  Get up and play around with some makeup, of course!  I picked a smokey eye with a coral lip - paired with my comfy PJs, I was the best-dressed girl at this home-office today :D

I used Inglot eyeshadow DS483, L'Oreal Eyeshadow duo in Shady (brown), with Chanel Brun Intense eyeliner to sketch out this look.  Here's my version of a blue-brown smokey eye in 4 easy steps:

Applied UD primer potion all over the lid.  Applied brown eyeliner along the upper lash line (I used Chanel Brun Intense, but I would rather use a cheaper eyeliner since it's going to be covered up anyway!), and smudge it slightly.  This ensures I don't leave any gaps of visible skin between the eyeshadow and the lashes.

Applied a blue eyeshadow (Inglot DS483) with a flat eyeshadow brush all over the lid.

Buffed in the darker brown eyeshadow from the L'Oreal eyeshadow duo and blended it with the blue.  Use the lighter shade to soften the edges.

Finish with brown eyeliner along the upper lashline, curl lashes and apply mascara.  I used black eyeliner along the waterline and smudged it with a pencil brush.

That was my 4-step guide to a blue-brown smokey eye.  I finished with a bright coral lipstick - MAC Crosswire - and a soft peach blush - Chanel Espiegle.  What did you wear today, to work or at home?
