Chloe Eau de Parfum

Chloe Eau de Parfum (available here)

Capturing the spirit of women, the Chloé vision is not about one singular woman, but rather about the rich and varied personalities of all Chloé women. This fresh, smooth floral fragrance evokes sublime powdery rose. The effect is chic, comfortable, and entirely addictive.

Top notes of pink peony, freesia, and lychee embody subtle freshness. At the heart, midnotes of magnolia flower, lily of the valley, and rose rise to sublimated femininity. A base of velvety elegance comes to fruition through cedarwood, amber, and honey.

The first note I detect with this perfume is a rose.  Now, normally that would ensure I never buy this, but a sample of this was stashed away in my bag, and I ended up having to use it on a hot summer day.  As the day wore on, I found myself loving the way the fragrance opens up.  The powdery rose note lingers on, but with time, it mixes with amber to give it a more musky sweet note.  I don't like associating myself with anything rose, but despite all my attempts at not liking this perfume, for some reason I love how it smells on me.  Plus it lasts and lasts forever!  A little goes a long way with this perfume, and it's been the one I reach for the most this summer.

  1. I have never liked musky and floral fragrance, so all my fragrance ended up to be fruity, fresh and not so long lasting. My first musky fragrance was from Burberry and then it was CK.

    1. Same here, Aarthi! I don't usually pick up fragrances like this, but sometimes when I smell them on others I really like it :D Which Burberry one did you pick up? I got a small coffret set of Burberry a few days back - tried the Burberry Sport..didn't like it much..not the kind of smell I am used to :(

    3. The set has Burberry Sport too..doesn't work for me, though :(( It's so amazing how the same perfume smells different on/to different people naa! My friend uses Ralph Lauren Romance, and I love the smell on her, but I went and tried it in store and it smelled so bad to me. I spritzed some on and roamed around hoping after some time I would smell like her, but didn't work at all :|
