Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus with Antioxidant Complex Natural Organic Skincare Range Blog Reviews Ingredients

Having sensitive, acne-prone skin that reacts to the mildest of ingredients, I am generally very reluctant to try out anything new with my skincare routine.  The folks at Jurlique sent these to me some time back, but because my skin was having one of its unpredictable mood swings, I couldn't try this out earlier.  Just started using this and am loving it so far.   Detailed reviews in a bit, but so far, I am loving the light formulations and how easily it absorbs into my skin.  For more information on the products and availability, check here.

  1. I wanted to like Jurlique products SO bad! I had been lusting after their stuff for about a year and did endless amounts of research on the products before purchasing...when I finally did, I got the Rosewater Balancing Mist, Herbal Recovery Gel, the Rose Hand Cream, and hand sanitizer (it came in a "best of" kind of kit). First of all, the toner mist contained a lot of alcohol--which I don't prefer in my toners. Secondly, ALL their products were so heavily perfumed that I literally couldn't stand to put it on my face. And I'm not even particularly sensitive to scents! It just didn't work for me as bad as I wanted it to...I hope it works out better for you though!

  2. You are absolutely right on both those things! They do have this heavy rose fragrance mixed in, and the toner does have alcohol right on top of the list of ingredients. It's one reason why I kept delaying trying the products out till my skin had sort of settled down from whatever mystery ailment it was going through :P It hasn't caused any breakout/irritation so far, but I am not really sure if it is providing any real benefit to my skin. It's summer, so the alcohol probably works at keeping my oily skin in check..and I am happy so long as it doesn't cause any visible damage to my skin :D
