For lack of anything better to do, I tried my my hand at easy scotch tape nails: Apply a darker base color over the entire nail and allow it to dry. Tape off the lower half of the nail at an angle, and then apply a lighter shade over the remaining half of the nail. Allow it to dry, peel off tape, and finish with a glossy top coat.
That was the easy part. The tough part? Patience. I messed up the polish because I couldn't wait long enough for it to dry, and that's the story behind the botched polish on the second finger :P

DeleteAw--it still looks great though, Rads! And that's totally something I would do--I have NO patience when it comes to my nails. That's why I also don't do nail art of any kind--takes too long :P
ReplyDeleteI never did like the squiggly flower drawing sorts anyway...though some of the really good nail blog have awesome nail art of that sort too..but I pefer these simpler ones..much easier to do :D
DeleteI love this! I don't think I would have the patience for it x
