I switched over to Lush haircare products a while back when I was having problems with regular shampoos, and while I do occasionally try out other brands, I always come back to Lush.  I have dry, frizz-prone, wavy hair, and whenever possible I do a pre-wash treatment with coconut oil to help reduce the drying effects from a shampoo.  On days when I don't have the time for any of that, though, I reach for Lush's solid shampoo - Trichomania.  If you can get over the scary idea of rubbing a bar of soap on wet hair, you will love this shampoo.  With its oh-so-soft lather and yummy smell, Trichomania leaves hair soft, shiny, and nourished and conditioned.

How to Use the Lush Solid Shampoo bar Trichomania:  Wet the bar and rub softly into wet hair, gently working up a lather.  Wash off and follow with a conditioner.  A few things that help with using this shampoo:

• I find it works better on shorter length hair.  When I have longer hair, I end up with some broken strands from hair getting caught in my fingers as I work the bar through my hair.  This is something that is common to all Lush shampoo bars.
• Trichomania leaves behind a slight residue, probably from the creamed coconut.  While its great for softening and nourishing hair, it can cause build up and leaves hair weighed down.  An easy solution for this is to use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while.
