MAC Fluidine in Local Wares (available here) - $15
MAC Fluidlines are some of my favorite makeup products, but I don't own very many of them. The newly launched MAC Styleseeker collection features four of these Fluidlines including an old favorite of mine - Dark Diversion. The first one to hop into my shopping basket, though, was Local Wares.MAC describes this fluidline as "dirty olive with multidimensional shimmer." What can I say - that won me over! From the smooth application to the smudge-free long-lasting line, Local Wares has the typical winning formula of a Fluidline. The darkened, almost black olive green color has very fine shimmer mixed that gives a life to the color without being glittery/shimmery as such.
MAC Fluidline Local Wares - Swatches/FOTD
I have swatched Local Wares alongside Maybelline's Blackest Black - Local Wares is a darkened olive that's almost black with a hint of shimmer. On my eyes, the shimmer is a little more visible than in the swatch, but it's very subtle.| Makeup Used: UD Perversion on waterline MAC Fluidline Local Wares along upper lashline and smudged lightly along lower lashline. DeleteLove it.. I love the way you photograph, reader can virtually feel the product and fell in love with it :) I always wanted to say this that your photography has inspired me to put better and clearer (Good quality) pictures on my blog. As they say not everyone behind a DSLR is an expert but I believe one can learn gradually :D <3 I never miss any of your posts due to this :D

DeleteYour application is so neat Rads :)
ReplyDeleteHm, I wonder how different this is from Avenue. I bought it when the Mac Me Over collection was out. I seem to gravitate towards pencil liners more despite having a few fluidlines that I don't use often enough.
Oh..thank you! I was wondering about that too..they do seem quite similar, don't they? I should check that out in store..I did see testers for Avenue the last time I went there..
DeleteI have phases - I won't want to use anything else for a while, and then I will get fed up cleaning the brush and get back to pencil liners :D :D
