TBS Moringa Body Butter for Normal/Dry Skin: Review

The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter for Normal/Dry Skin ($19) - This rich and creamy Body Butter is a feast for the skin.  It melts straight in to leave skin feeling soft and smooth.  It contains Community Fair Trade shea butter and has a delicate white floral scent.  Provides 24-hour hydration and is great for normal to dry skin.  Fragrance note:  White floral scent.

I know it's still quite warm and sunny in a lot of places, but I can definitely see the little changes in the weather outside.  The occasional leaf drifting down to my patio and the little bits of cold seeping in through the window - all signs of the cooler, drier days ahead.  Time to take out the heavier body butters, and one of my favorites is the TBS Moringa Body Butter.  With shea butter listed right at the top of the ingredients list, this is quite a heavy moisturizer and just what my dry skin needs during the winters.  It's creamy smooth and easy to apply.  Applied immediately after a bath, this leaves my skin hydrated for the whole day.  TBS describes the fragrance as a delicate white floral, but I do think the smell might be a bit too strong for the sensitive noses.  Overall, a fabulous moisturizer for normal to dry skin so long as you don't mind a heavier floral fragrance.

  2. I once picked up the travel size of Moringa body wash instead of Sweet Lemon, since both are yellow in color and I was too busy looking arnd to read whats written :D :D :D Being a body wash, the smell was a bit too much for me and kept lingering around and in fact, I love florals. A lot of people seem to love the scent of this one though :( Maybe I should give it another chance sometime...

  3. Naaah this is just as strong (if not more)! The first two days I actually did leave the patio door open to get the smell out..we have a pretty small apartment and I just couldn't stand the heavy fragrance..but now I seem to find it quite normal. Guess the smell cells just died :D :D

The thing is in the store/tub it smells different. The fragrance sort of opens up as you apply the body butter, so you won't even know what you are getting into when you are buying it :P
