The Body Shop Earth Lovers Apricot and Basil Shower Gel: Best if you want to feel fresh and clean with a 100% biodegradable shower gel that is sulphate, paraben and colorant-free. Contains real apricot and basil extracts. Best for: all skin types. What's special about the Earth Lover Range? They are 100% biodegradable, soap-free, and have no sulphates, parabens or colorants.
I don't usually pick up shower/haircare products from the Body Shop - not had much luck with their haircare range and I am more of a Lush girl anyway. So, how did the Body Shop's Earth Lovers Apricot and Basil shower gel land up here? I got it for FREEEEEEEEEE! Haa..you know I love it already, don't you? :D So anyway, I had ordered a couple of body butters and some brushes from TBS, and in the package was this full-size shower gel, charged $0 for, so it wasn't even a mistake. Good things do happen in life :D :D
Okay on to the shower gel - this range features recyclable packaging, and the product itself is more friendly to the environment.
It has a refreshing fruity smell, and it's much easier to wash off than most shower gels I have tried, and I find it much less drying too. Overall, a great inexpensive pick whether you just want a great smelling shower gel or you are looking for something that's as friendly to your skin as it is to the earth.
Have you tried the Earth Lovers range from TBS? I quite liked this, but I am still a little wary of trying out anything else.

DeleteHi Radhika
ReplyDeleteI have tried the Watermelon and Eucalyptus one. It smells great. But one problem is The smell doesn't stay on your skin too long.Apart from that everything about is great!
That's true..there's hardly any smell left on my skin, but I guess it's because this is suitable for sensitive skin so they won't add any strong fragrances to it. Watermelon and Eucalyptus sounds just as refreshing as this one!
DeleteThe pocket angels haven't been as merciful to me but I did love this when i used it. Say Basil in anything and I am most likely to pick it and probably like it too :)
ReplyDeleteI never bothered to try these in store..didn't think it would be any good. When I saw this in the package, I had this brief moment when I thought "Oh it must be really bad, that's why they added it for free" :P :P :P What can I say..am a snob..and a pretty dumb one at that :D :P
