Vegas Good Eats: Serendipity 3

I have been missing for a while now, and now you know why.  I just got back from Vegas, all blackened like I spent the weekend cleaning out chimneys, but I had an awesome time :D  I know I have ignored a whole lot of comments, and at least 2-3 people will be furious about the lack of replies on the mails - sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry - will get back in a day or two!  For now, let me share some of the yummmmminess I got to eat while in Vegas, because nothing soothes flared tempers better than photos of chocolate milkshakes you can't have :P :P

I could only make it to two places on my long list of 4, and the first was breakfast at Serendipity 3.  Reviews warned me of the long lines at the place, so I made reservations, and then overslept and turned up a good 2 hours later, and yes there was the dreaded line.  The hostess was apparently so fascinated by my Indian name she sort of forgave our not turning up earlier and found a place for us right away!  I had a Frrrozen Hot Chocolate - and contrary to whatever people tell you - don't even think about sharing a regular size.  It's sooo yummy, I didn't bothering asking the husband more than once :P

I am not too fond of eggs/omelets, so I made my hubby eat the East Side Western omelet - minus the prosciutto since we are sort of vegetarians - and I ordered the Bigger-Than-Your-Head Pancakes.  My dad would probably be muttering for years about how I don't know how to place a fork properly, but there really was no place on the plate!!!  Besides, as you can see, the two of use were more interested in eating :P

Is not an eyeshadow..I just smudged a brown pencil liner and topped it with a primer so it stays in place - all that effort only on the first day. After that I just ran out of the door with a sunscreen and lipbalm :| How do ppl look so pretty in all their vacation photos????!!!!!!!!!!!
