Tried, Tested, Love! Lush

For a long while, when I started blogging, every other post I used to do would be about a Lush product.  While I have discovered a whole lot more products to write about now, I still am quite the Lushie, and I love trying out Lush products just as much as Lush seems to love getting out new ones (and hiking up prices on the older ones).  The Tried, Tested, Love! series (previous edition) is about listing my favorites in each brand, and with Lush it was a difficult choice to narrow down to just three.  I told myself I can always do another round-up after a while to include some more, and nobody would remember :P, here's a list of my must-haves from Lush, narrowed down to three.

#1.  Dream Cream Body Lotion:  This is one of their less expensive (by Lush standards) body lotions and is filled with skin-soothing ingredients like oat milk, lavender, and chamomile and is perfect for irritated, blotchy, and sensitive skins.  I have read tons of reviews where people swear by its healing powers on everything from eczema to diaper rashes.  Now, here's my secret - I use this as my face cream!  While it isn't something I am going to recommend anyone to do - it works fabulously as a soothing body lotion, and you all use it just that way - but I have been using this as my face cream for about 2 years now, and I doubt if I will ever switch to anything else.  I get 240 g of product in a huge black tub, and despite having acne-prone, oily-combination skin, Dream Cream has kept my face mostly problem-free.  Plus, I am very prone to getting allergic rashes on my hands and legs, and this soothes them in no time!

#2.  Lush I Love Juicy Shampoo I have frizz-prone, dry hair, and a shampoo meant for oily hair is probably the last thing I should be using, so how did I Love Juicy land up in my shopping basket?  I Love Juicy is made with fresh fruit juices of pineapple, mango, and kiwi that help clean up excess oil and sea salt for volume and seaweed extract to soften hair.  Since I color my hair now, I try to use a color-protecting shampoo most times, but I do treat my hair to a pre-wash oil treatment a lot of times, and this is my go-to shampoo to get out all that oil and any residue from shampoo/other haircare products.  It's a pricey but very effective clarifying shampoo and leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny every time I use it.  I do have to follow it up with a good conditioner, though.

#3. Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask: Lush makes the best face masks, in my opinion, especially if you are looking for natural, organic ingredients. With hardly any preservatives added in, their fresh face masks need to be stored in the refrigerator and have a short shelf-life of about 2 to 3 weeks. For the longest time, I used the Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask, but I don't get as many breakouts now, plus I don't seem to find it anywhere either. My current go-to mask is the Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask. Honey, eggs, lime oil, rosemary, and almonds mixed in a clay base makes this the ideal detoxifying, brightening mask for combination skin.

My favorite part:  Return 5 empty, cleaned up black tubs
to Lush and get a fresh face mask of your choice, absolutely free.

So these were my 3 must-have products from Lush.  Have you tried anything from Lush?  Do you have a favorite or maybe one you just absolutely regret having spent money on - do share!
