Burberry Complete Eye Palettes (Swatches): Must-Have Eyeshadow Quads on The Holiday Gift List

Burberry Complete Eye Palette (available here) - $59 (available at Nordstrom now)

A quartet of densely pigmented, coordinating eye colours that enrich the skin and remain vibrant all day.  The formulation of each shadow has been customised to give a targeted texture for a specific use: luminising base highlighter, two medium colours to add shape, and an intense liner.  The skin protecting, glide-on formula is blended with satin smooth silicones and enriching conditioners.  Comes packaged in a mettalic check case (like the Burberry singles) and a travel pouch with three eye brushes is included (info from Burberry site - not sure if the brushes are also available at Nordstrom).

The Burberry Complete Eye Palettes are one of the most anticipated releases from the brand, and going by what I tried out today, they do seem buttery smooth and pigmented (the Pale Nude swatched pretty light, though).  There are 6 palettes/quads - 4 of which are currently available on the Burberry website - and the entire set is now available at Nordstrom.  Here are some swatches to help you decide!  Update:  This is part of the Vintage Gold Christmas Makeup Collection by Burberry.

Sorry about the swatches of this one being not so great - it is a lighter quad, though, so won't show up too well on my darker skin tone.

Among the six shades I got to swatch, my favorites are Dark Spice, Plum Pink, and Smokey Grey - simply because with my darker skin tone, those would be the ones that would show up the best.  These are part of holiday 2012 gifts selection at Burberry, and also included in the collection is a beautiful charm set - a tassled charm and a nude lip gloss - oh-so-pricey but oh-so-want!

All shadows were swatches dry - no primer - in natural light, so you get a reasonable idea regarding the pigmentation.  Links provided are for information purposes only and are NOT affiliate links.
