Bvlgari Jasmin Noir Eau de Parfum: Review

Bvlgari Jasmin Noir Eau de Parfum (available here) captures the irresistible charm of a mysterious and intensely sensual woman. Captivating and caressing, Jasmin Noir is a rich mix of voluptuous floral and precious woody notes with accents of almond and licorice. This infinitely addictive essence is sublimely revealed by jasmine, a flower whose beauty is as pure as it is tantalizing. This scent embodies the very heart of the Bvlgari brand, reflecting the richest and noblest codes of a luxury jewelry legacy. The deep black and luminous gold bottle beautifully honors the heritage of prestigious allure.

The Bvlgari Jasmin Noir Eau de Parfum is a warm woody floral with hints of almond and licorice and with no cloying sweetness to it.  The opening notes, to me, are definitely jasmine and gardenia, but with a hint of green to it - not a fruity green, but a more leafty/tree green.  Notes of almond and tonka bean mix in with a hint of woodiness as the fragrance settles into the skin.  The overall effect is quite sophisticated and grown-up, and despite being a "Noir" this is definitely a fragrance that can be worn on a cool winter day just as easily as in the night. Over 2 to 3 hours, the notes fade quite a bit but blend in beautifully and linger on as a soft hint on the skin as the fragrance dries down.  Bvlgari Jasmin Noir is an easy to wear floral and a definite must-try if you love jasmine-based fragrances.

    1. Not really...I thought so too before I tried it. It is a stronger perfume, though, but not jasmine like our put-on-hair/wrist-wrap sorts :P :P This is sort of kind of similar to Coco Mademoiselle..
