Clinique's Chubby Sticks have been on my wishlist for a long long time, and I finally got a bunch of them just a day or so before the Clinique Chubby Intense came out - talk about bad timing!  Anyway, on to the Chubby Sticks regular version.  If not for their extremely cute packaging/name, I would just call them tinted lip balms.  The Clinique Chubby Sticks feel extremely moisturizing on the lips, and Richer Raisin is one of the few shades that actually has a deeper enough tint to show on my lips.  While Clinique does claim the Chubby Sticks are fragrance-free, the ones I have all have a slight lipsticky smell to them.  It's not offensive or too strong, but I definitely don't find them uncented.  Scroll on for more photos and swatches.

On my skin, this shows up as a sheer brown with a hint of plum to it.

This is a darker tint so it does show up even on my pigmented lips.  It is still just a sheer tint and offer much in terms of covering up anything on the lips.

While I do wish I had waited a day or two and picked up some of the newer Chubby Intense, I really do like these older Clinique Chubby Sticks quite a lot.  The formula has been awesome at keeping my lips flake-free and moisturized.  Richer Raisin, in particular, is a darker tint and a perfect rich plum-brown shade for the cooler winter months. Used on it's own, the color doesn't stay around much, but I use this under some of the drier lipsticks of a similar shade, and my lips have been having a pretty smooth winter so far :D
