Dior 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette in Grege - Review, Swatches, FOTD (Part of the New Look Set from Sephora)

Dior 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette in Grege (available at Sephora) - A sleek compact containing five expertly coordinated shades for the ultimate modern eye.  Dior re-invents the classic 5-Colour Eyeshadow with new formulas and shades! These versatile palettes can easily create a range of customized looks for day and night. The incredibly soft, melting texture glides over the eyelid, creating a smudgeproof application. The highly pigmented formula creates an ultra-graphic look that's buildable in color intensity.

The Dior 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette in Grege (734) that I am reviewing here is the better half of the Dior New Look Set from Sephora - the Dior New Look mascara that's the other half of the set is quite okay though I won't be buying it again, but this mini palette included in the set more than makes up for any issues with the mascara.  The colours included in this palette are all neutral, wearable colours that have an almost matte finish.  There is a slight bit of a sheen to the colours, and the finish isn't chalky or dull.  Over a primer, the colours last the whole day with no creasing or fading.  Scroll on for photos, swatches, and FOTD.

This palette might differ from the regular-sized version of the 5 Couleur palette in Grege (the texture of the shadows might be different, but I haven't checked).

Dior 5 Couleur Eyeshadow in Grege 734 - Part of the New Look set from SephoraUsed the Grey shade (3) over the lid and the darker brown (4) to blend along the crease.  Cream shade (2) used below brow.
Additional makeup used:  Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx
Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing MascaraKorres Quercetin and Oak Face Primer
Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation in BA54
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting concealer under eyes
Chanel Joues Contraste Blush - Malice
Chanel Troublant Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss on the lips
At $59 for the regular sizes, the Dior 5 Couleur palettes sit firmly on the expensive side of the fence, and I have not tried any of those to comment on the quality.  As part of the $28.50 New Look set (for some reason, Sephora lists the shade as Royal Khaki) though, the 5 Couleur Eyeshadow Palette in Grege is an absolutely steal :D

  1. This is my favorite palette at the moment! I left it unloved for several months and now I have to force myself to use other eyeshadows. I love a neutral eyelook for work and I get compliments every time I wear this.
