Travel essentials/must-have in my bag at all times -- Makeup and cleansing face wipes! It would be only on the rare bad days that you would catch me without one in my bag, and since I run out of them pretty frequently, it's one product I love trying out newer versions of :D The Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes caught my attention because of their pretty pink packaging, and I love anything citrusy. It isn't too bad on the face cleansing aspect - does a great job of taking off most of my face makeup and grime - but it cannot be used around the eye area so you do need to sort that out separately. It has a fresh citrusy scent that I like a lot, and I think this cleansing wipe is great for oily skin types who want a quick temporary/emergency cleansing option. I won't recommend this if you have sensitive skin, though. Every once in a while, I get an irritated burning sensation on my face when I use this. Not always, but it does happen occasionally, I am assuming on days when my skin is in one of it's crazy moods :P You could try the milder blue ones - Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes.

So, that was my quick review of the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Cleansing wipe. What about you - what's the one (or many) permanent must-have in your bag?

  1. I have tried so many wipes for different purpose but I always stick on to MAC wipes for make up removal n yet to find a refreshing wipe to use during travel..

    1. One of their cleansers did that to me too, but I think with makeup/cleanser wipes I am sort of safe since I wash off with a regular face wash anyway :P :D

    2. Hmm...btw I had a weird experience. I used J&J's baby wipes on my skin and they burned me :( Did that happen to anyone/you, do you know about it?

    3. Really? I have never used them myself, but I always assumed it's baby wipes so has to be very gentle sorts...hmmm..maybe they changed the formulations to be more suitable for wiping rather than to be used on the face?
