Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx: Review, Swatch, FOTD

Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx (available at Sephora) - $19

This waterproof, long-wearing eye pencil provides bold color that won't smudge or budge for up to eight hours. The creamy, easy-to-apply formula contains vitamin E and jojoba oil to moisturize and protect. The cap houses a unique built-in sharpener—so you'll always have the most precise application.  Formulated without parabens.

The Smashbox Onyx is a matte black eyeliner, and true to it's claims, it does stay on pretty strong on my eyes.  While not as black as my favorite, UD Perversion, this comes close in terms of pigmentation and is just as good when it comes to staying power.  Scroll on for photos and swatches!

The Smashbox Limitless eyeliner pencil in Onyx is a great choice for anyone looking for a matte black liner that stays on without too much of a fuss.  I love the UD Perversion, and it really is quite the deep, dark black, but I have been using Smashbox for the past couple of days, and I don't find myself missing the UD liner at all.  Sure, if I had to pick one, I would stick with UD, but Smashbox would be a close, and equally loved, second :)

  2. Yes, Poorva, used it for tightlining/waterline and brushed lightly along the upper and lower lash lines.
