Effortless and high impact - that's the essence of Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick. The do-it-all formula glides on tug-free and can be used to shade, define, smoke up and highlight eyes. In subtle to eye-popping shades that last for up to eight hours without creasing, flaking or fading, it's a stroke of genius. Just swipe on and go.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick - currently available in 8 shades Image Source: www.shop.nordstrom.com |
Last year after a rather disappointing experience with the NARS shadow pencil a try, I had decided that the only eyeshadow I would ever buy would be the powdered sort that comes in a box. Makeup companies, though, seem to have embraced this concept with a lot of enthusiasm making cream eyeshadow sticks the new makeup trend this spring. It started with the Dior Spring 2013 collection, Clinique has new Chubby
sticks for eyes, and Chanel is rumored to be launching quite a few with
their summer collection. If the newly launched Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks are anything to go by, this seems to be something to look forward to. These eyeshadow sticks are creamy and glide on smoothly with an intense color payoff. Going by the amount of rubbing I had to do to get these swatches off, these eyeshadow sticks sure seem long wearing. Here's a look at the swatches:
