Benefits: Reflects light to create illusion of plumper, fuller lips. Leaves lips supple, glowing with natural highlights and subtle iconic tones. Ceramide complex recreates the intercellular cement. The Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 Siren Red Collection includes 4 new lipglosses, and among the three that I did get to see, Mallow Pink No. 19 was my favorite. A bright coral pink shade, this is definitely a shade that makes even dull, dreary winter days seem like spring! Despite being termed a "natural lipgloss,' Mallow Pink packs enough pigment to work quite well on its own even on my pigmented lips. The texture is quite light and feels very comfortable on my lips. There is very fine shimmer scattered through the gloss, but it's only visible when in the sun - really subtle and beautiful. Here's a look at the gloss - photos and swatches.

This swatch isn't true to color, but I just added it in to show the shimmer - taken under bright sunlight

The new Burberry Mallow Pink lipgloss is just the splash of color that I need to snap out of the dull, dreary winter blues - bright enough to sail into spring and summer yet works just as easily sheered down to a coral tint. I have used it on its own in the photo above, but I love wearing this gloss layered over coral-pink lipsticks and even my trusty pink Clinique Chubby Stick! This has lasted at least 3 hours on me and even held up reasonably well through quick light lunches.  Definitely my favorite among the recent launches.
