NARS Spring 2013 Makeup Collection Swatch - Velvet Lip Gloss Pencil - Cythere |
So far, the lipstick (Dressed to Kill) and the blush (Seduction) look most promising. The eyeshadow (Persia), just as I expected it to be, looks quite
interesting. Cythere (which for some reason is spelled Cytere, without the H, on the NARS website) - I have to figure out some use for it - on it's own this would look terrible on me.
I got these just this morning, so it's only swatches and photos for now - reviews in a bit. Got to go now - work calling - it's what pays for all this makeup :D Did you find anything interesting in the NARS Spring 2013 collection - do share!
ur NaRS haul is amazing. I loved the lipstick and the blush. The eyeshadow is quite tempting and I liked the idea of putting shimmer on the centre of the lid. u shud try it out!! WOW
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like an easy way to use it, doesn't it? Hope it looks nice on me! Now tell me some way to salvage the Cythere lipgloss. I was hoping to use it over a darker lipstick/base..
Deletenot sure what the 'bridge of the eye' is (from the jake broullard quote above), but if persia is anything like saffron by mac, try it in/slightly above the crease, with a lighter toned brown or beigey tone on the lid, and lots of black eyeliner....
ReplyDeleteThe "bridge" was a bit of a mystery for me too..I finally decided it must be some fancy word for crease :P :P :D
DeleteThanks for the suggestion. I am pretty sure that would work great - not sure if it would show up in photos, but I will definitely try it out and update if that works. Anything with lots of black eyeliner is a yayyy for me :D
Anyday you are planning to sell your stuff I am there to buy them :D
ReplyDelete:D :D :D
DeleteI bet these are going to look absolutely stunning on you, Rads! I think they're too bright/intense for me but I can totally see you rocking these with your gorgeous skin tone! :D
ReplyDeleteSome of the shades are quite deep/pigmented...what about the pink duo? I cannot imagine using pink on my eyes..would look like I have some problem with my eyes...but it looks lovely on lighter skins.
DeleteVery beautiful colors especially the blush, I could probably use Persia eyeshadow as a blush too :)
ReplyDeleteJust what I thought too :D :D I have a feeling it would look quite nice that way :D
