Soap and Glory The Righteous Body Butter - Review

Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter (available here) - $5/$20

An award-winning body moisturizing butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera, this body butter was formulated for very dry skin with a new dynamic moisture trap matrix to help hold hydration in longer. Its alluring scent of Soap & Glory's signature Pink Fragrance combines fresh bergamot and mandarin, rose, jasmine, peach, strawberry, oakmoss, amber, woody notes and amber and warm vanilla notes on the bottom.

The Righteous Body Butter by Soap & Glory was a basket-filler purchase that I added in to round up the total to $50 and get that free Sephora delivery!  I also got another tub of it a couple of orders later as a generous GWP from Sephora :D  The body butter is a soft cream that applies easily and despite being labelled "a very dry skincare formula," I find this pretty mild - easily absorbed with no residual greasiness.  The product has a fruity fragrance to it - sort of a mix of citrus and berry - and while it is a bit strong, I don't really mind it one bit.

I find the Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter a good daytime moisturizer that is suitable for all skin types. It isn't too rich or greasy yet provides a decent dose of moisture to the skin.  For my feet/hands, I would go for something richer, though, especially during the night.

  1. Which brand would you compare the Soap&Glory with? Like C&E, TBS? Just to get an idea.. Comparison both quality and cost wise :)

  2. TBS - for a dry skin body butter, that would be my first pick. C&E I think is costlier, and I haven't tried their body butters. Soap & Glorly would fall between these two, I am guessing, in terms of price (again can't compare with C&E cos not tried). Overall, TBS would definitely be a winner cos it's not supercostly and it's very very moisturizing.

    2. I had the same query before trying anything S&G. Will try the chhotu wala dabba 1st.
Btw- Rads, I tried the smashbox primer, did not look Ashy on me... in fact I love it better than the shadow insurance thingy.

    3. Hii Beee..ya try the chotu dabba..if you stay in an area with a higher humidity level, this might just be perfect :)

The Smashbox primer won't look ashy on you cos you lighter :D :D I have darker skin na so it looks ashy..is universal color only for non-dark eyelids :D But the primer itself is damn good na..no creasing or anything and just stays on supermatte kinds..
