It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Mascara (available here) - $24

PRODUCT PROVIDED BY BRAND FOR REVIEW
Developed with leading plastic surgeons, Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Treatment Mascara revolutionizes and takes the place of five products - volumizing mascara, conditioning lash primer, lash-enhancing serum, lash tint, and a lash comb/curler! Hello Lashes offers the blackest of black color that lasts and doesn't flake or fade. The triple-brush lengthens, curls, and separates lashes while the innovative Magic Wand lash ball detailer tip is designed to reach every last inner and outer corner lash.

It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Mascara - Review
There is something about jumbo-sized mascara tubes that really gets my attention, and It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Mascara certainly comes housed in a chubby tube, looking more like a pen than a mascara!  The mascara claims to provide priming, lengthening, and volumizing benefits together with a rich black color.  The mascara wand is a skinny one with a neat row of short bristles that end in a ball tip - supposedly to help reach the inner and outer lashes better.  Scroll on for more photos and my thoughts on the It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Blackest Black Mascara.

It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Masara - How to Use/Apply
Starting at the base of your lashes, hold the brush horizontally, then wiggle and sweep the brush up and through to the tips. Next, use the lash ball detailer to add length, volume, and separation to your lower lashes as well as your inner and outer corner lashes. For a more dramatic look, add additional coats. It's easy to remove using soap and warm water or eye makeup remover.
The It Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara manages to hit all the right notes - rich pigment (I get tons of black on the cotton square I use at the end of the day to take off the makeup) in a light base that is easy to apply, stays flake-free, no smudging, and most importantly for me, clump-free lashes.  It does a good job of making the lashes look long and dark.  I rarely use more than a single coat of any mascara, and with the It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Blackest Black Mascara I find it quite sufficient for the natural looking effect that I want.  I did try out 2-3 coats, and I found the formula stays clump-free while adding a lot more drama to the lashes.  Personally, though, I have had a bit of a learning curve with the ball detailer thingie at the tip of the wand.  I do manage to get the mascara on to the corner lashes (which is what the detailer is supposed to help with), but occasionally, I also end up getting spots of mascara from the ball on to the corner of my eyes when  I am doing the other lashes!  Of course, this could just be me being clumsy and wiping off product from the tip does definitely help solve the problem.  The packaging claims 430% longer lashes, and while I cannot vouch for the exact number claimed, from the video demos (you can check one here), I have noticed that the difference is most obvious in people with thinner and/or lighter lashes since this does pack a ton of pigment.

Overall, I find this a great mascara for long, dark, clump-free lashes, and absolutely no smudging or flaking the whole day.
