Smith's Rosebud Salve

Rosebud Perfume Co. - Rosebud Salve (available here) - $6

This cult-favorite, multi-purpose lip balm soothes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. Also an excellent remedy for the treatment of diaper rash.

This is going to be one of my supershort reviews - the Rosebud Salve is awesome, pick it up!! :D :D Well, really, that's all there is to it, but just to fill up the space a bit, here's a little more on this lip balm.  From the quaint name to the charming vintage-style design and tin packaging, the Rosebud Salve ticks all the right boxes in my checklist of things to buy from Sephora.  Plus, it's a lip balm - I cannot have enough of those things - and at $6, this makes for an ideal basket filler when I am looking to round up the total to a $50 and free shipping.   I have read some great reviews on this product, and I finally got around to buying this some time last month.   The lip balm has a slight pinkish tint to it which doesn't show up at all on my lips.  The consistency is thin and light, feels quite comfortable on the lips, and actually does do a fabulous job of soothing dry lips and keeping them flake-free.  Suggested usages for the Rose Bud Salve include, among others, using on blemishes (not on my face!), to releive dryness on elbows and knees, and to soothe minor burns - but I have only used this as a lip balm so far, and I am pretty happy with it.  Definitely something that will be on my must-have list forever!

  1. The name and the packaging is so tempting !

  2. Yeah, that's exactly what I think about that product ! It is great for oily skin because it is a bit drying ! But I'm not sure that I would fit dry skin :/

    1. True..I do want to pick it up, but the price is a bit ouch! I got the UD one instead :D
