The
St. Ives Green Tea Blemish Control Scrub is one of the cheapest, effective, oil-control skincare product I have tried in a long time. This scrub contains 1% salicylic acid - not sure if that really helps a lot with skin exfoliation at that concentration, but I guess something is better than nothing - and very, very fine (silica?) granules that feels almost like a slurry in this creamy scrub. The scrubbing granules are very gentle yet do a fabulous job at leaving my skin super soft and smooth. I actually feel like this cleans out every single, stubborn, horrid pore on my face, leaving it brand new, fresh and clean :D I have oily-combination skin, and to avoid drying out my skin too much I don't use this more than once a week, and I have to follow up with a moisturizer. If you have really oily, acne-prone, blemish-stricken skin you could probably use this more often, and this just might be the solution for your skincare woes (my opinion - not medical advice :P). The good thing is the folks at St. Ives make this in a small, travel-size which costs about $1!
