NARS Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz (New Small Size - Sephora)

Infused with lush, naturally derived ingredients, this lightweight tinted moisturizer immediately helps thirsty skin feel hydrated. It has been proven to help reduce the appearance of discoloration and dark spots caused by hyper pigmentation for a clearer and brighter complexion in just four weeks. Oil-free and luxurious, it obscures the appearance of lines, wrinkles, pores and other imperfections. SPF 30 adds a translucent veil of protection.

I have been using the NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Annapurna for a while now.   I love the light formula, especially for the summers, but the shade does seem a bit dark for my skin tone now.  I don't know if I got lighter or if I just picked the wrong shade to start with, but at any rate, I have been wanting to pick up a sample of the next lighter shade - St. Moritz - for a while now. Turns out, someone at Sephora/NARS wanted to help me out.   NARS Tinted moisturizers are currently available in smaller sizes - only St. Moritz and Alaska.  It's a 15 mL size tube - generous enough to try out a lot of times and/or small enough to carry around in the bag. The product does tend to run out a bit with this packaging, so I need to take care not to spill it when I open it.

I have already reviewed the NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Annapurna.  St. Moritz suits medium skins with neutral yellow undertones.  A perfect match for my skin would fall somewhere between the two, but I generally opt for sheer coverage and can get away with using St. Moritz.  The formula is the same - light to medium buildable coverage, oil-free tinted moisturizer but I tend to skip my regular moisturizer while using this in the summers.  SPF 30 provides good sun protection.  I don't use a lot of product and don't use it all that very often either, so I really do appreciate the smaller packaging.  I wish more brands would embrace this idea of smaller sizes.

  4. St.Moritz is my shade too! How much is the sample size for?

    1. It's 15 mL for $16...it works out costlier if you are comparing size-price with the larger size, but I still haven't finished my larger size tube of Annapurna, and this is good for trial and travel. If you already have a shade you are happy with, it's much more economical to buy the regular size.

  5. i might have to try this combination - i usually wear annapurna alone in this formula, but sometimes i feel like it might be too strong and yellow for my skin. the smaller size of st. moritz sounds like a good idea to mix a little with the annapurna. i'll have to give this a try!

    1. That is exactly how I feel - too yellow! I found the mix much better, and I also tried mixing St. Moritz with my other slightly yellower foundation - Chanel Perfection Lumiere. Overall, prettttttttttttttty happy :D :D

  6. i'll have to try this! i wear annapurna as well, but sometimes i feel like the color is too strong and yellow for my more neutral skin tone. i'll look for the smaller size of st. moritz next time i'm at sephora!

    1. You can pick up a sample too if you are going to the store. I find the SAs at Sephora quite helpful that way :)
