Sephora + Pantone Universe Blush Duo - Coral/Desert Flower

This Sephora + Pantone Universe blush duo was a limited release that came out some time last year.  I bought the Sephora + Pantone Universe makeup set and got full sizes of a bunch of products from the collection, including this blush, but didn't get around to doing anything much beyond swatches.  For someone who writes a blog on makeup, I really am not all that very up to date!  Anyway, I discovered this blush during one of my cleaning sprees, and this suddenly seemed like the perfect shade to try around this time of the year.  The blush duo features two lovely coral blushes:  Desert, a sparkly deeper coral shade with an embossed design and Coral, a matte coral shade.  The packaging is all-white, and the magnetized lid/closing mechanism is pretty similar to that seen in Inglot palettes.  Scroll on for photos, swatches, and more.

I have no idea why I never even bothered using this blush until recently.  Blame it on anything - not really being a blush enthusiast until recently, not knowing how to use a blush (like I know now!), temporary insanity :P   Now that I did try this, I am in love with the blush.  The matte coral blush - appropriately named, Coral - is quite pigmented and easy to blend, and is definitely not chalky!  The sparkly side - Desert Flower - is more of a highlighter.  There is a lot of shimmer in it, and it is quite sheer when blended.  It pairs beautifully with the matte shade.  Considering this blush isn't even sold in Sephora any more, I realize how pointless this review is, but it's such a pretty-looking blush I just had to share :D  If you really do want the blush, though, I think it's still available on Amazon and eBay.
