Clinique All About Shadow Eyeshadow Quads - Swatches, Photos

All About Shadow Quads feature four versatile, complimentary shades to wear alone or layer together in different combinations. For dark skintones, lighter shades will impart a more dramatic look and dark shades for a more natural style. Dark shades look more dramatic on fairer skins; light ones look more natural. These powder colors are formulated to be crease and fade resistant, and are ophthalmologist tested for contact lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes. This set includes a mirrored compact with illustrated instructions plus two sponge-tip applicators.

I haven't tried very many Clinique eyeshadows apart from a blush-eyeshadow set that I got as part of a GWP some time back.  In general, though, I love the subtle, wearable colors that Clinique makes.  Do the newly reformulated "All About Shadow" eyeshadow quads live up the trend?  Scroll on for photos and swatches.

Like I mentioned earlier, I really haven't much of an experience with Clinique eyeshadows to compare these to.  The palette that I have has lovely neutral shades, and these eyeshadows do seem to be just as wearable.  The two colors I really liked are Galaxy and Morning Java.  Have you tried the new Clinique eyeshadows?  Do share!

  1. Thank you very much for the swatches. I haven't had time to play with those in the counter. How do they feel? Smooth/Hard, powdery or not? My last memory of Clinique is the 4 Chubby Eye Sticks I was so excited with and they were so hard that one broke by the first application. Since then I haven't purchased anything from this brand.

    1. Hmmm..I have only swatched, so I cannot really comment too much on how it would perform with use, but I just feel that some colors/quads seem to be better in terms of smoothness and pigmentation than others. Of course, I am darker skinned, so not everything is going to show up as intense on my skin, but some of the lighter quads did seem a bit dry. These do seem nice for someone who wants not too expensive, dependable, neutralishhh colors..
