Today's Makeup

Today's Makeup YSL - Chanel - NARS - Bobbi Brown - Rimmel - Urban Decay - Givenchy

Weekends are always a mess with me.  I want to do some nice makeup like all the other girls who turn up for lunches or at the mall, but between waking up on time and making breakfast, I never manage to do anything beyond a liner and some lipgloss.  Today was almost the same.  I did go the liner route, but it was raining the whole day today, and I had alllllll the time in the world to get ready, so I spent a HUGE amount of time with my new concealer - NARS Creamy Concealer stick - concealing the million and one specks and spots on my face.  It sure is nice to have clear skin, even if it's only until the makeup comes off :D

I don't usually like to wear my eyeliner so thick - at least not intentionally, unless I end up having to repair and even out a line - but today being such a gloomy, rainy day, I figured a thicker liner might look okay.  I used NARS Thunderball on a TBS angled liner brush to draw the line and to help it stay on longer added the UD liner in Invasion over it.  Stayed the whole day without budging :)

So that was my makeup for the day.  Didn't do anything much out of the ordinary, but I did go the Daiso store on our way back from Whole Foods.

Daiso Japan Store Shopping

It's been more than 2 years staying here, but today was my first time at the store.  I love the cute cups and bowls and knick knacks the place stocks, and at $1.50 for most things, it's impossible to walk out without buying anything.  I picked up two clear plastic boxes to store my lipsticks in (that's the plan for now) and a cotton squares holder sort of thingie.  Will post pics tomorrow or when I have a bit more light here.  Oh, and the butterfly earrings are from Target :D

  1. You are so classically beautiful. Very pretty, subtle but polished look.
Do you live in the US or in India? Going by the Sephora and Target I suppose the former? Have a nice Sunday!
