Sephora has been having these Urban Decay lipstick samples as part of their GWP lineup off and on for quite some time now. I checked swatches online and figured none of those were colors I would ever use. A few days back, though, I was at the Sephora store and decided to get swatches of the Urban Decay Revolution lipsticks. The formula seemed quite nice, and I loved how bright and pretty the colors looked. My next couple of orders from Sephora got me a couple of these lipstick samplers, and here's my favorite among the lot - Anarchy.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick - Anarchy (Bright fuchsia) |
Anarchy is a bright fuchsia lipstick that packs some serious pigment. I have use a lip brush to apply this lipstick in a light layer, and it goes on quite opaque. The finish is not completely matte and has a hint of sheen to it. It feels very light on the lips, and while I won't call it a "hydrating" lipstick, it did not dry out my lips either. I have only tried this lipstick twice so far, and I am quite impressed with the staying power. I have pigmented lips and the lipstick leaves behind a slightly uneven tint as it starts to fade, but over a lip liner and/or on clearer lips this would be a beautiful stain. My new favorite lipstick for the weekend trip to Whole Foods :D
Urban Decay Anarchy lipstick is available at Sephora (in store and online) and on the Urban Decay website. Links provided for information only - NOT affiliate links.

ReplyDeletethe lipstick is great on you and am also looking forward to try one of these .... either this or F bomb or Bang :D
you can actually kill me if the thing am asking you and you feel bad ...
ReplyDeletebut
is there a mole on your upper lip line ... and i didnt noticed it till now ? or is it just my screen ?
I love the lip liner brush - it's actually a concealer/lip brush. I have the Chanel retractable brush, which is also nice but not flat like this. And the mole has always been there, guess it's just more obvious against brighter lipsticks like these :D
