Lavish skin with the lively scent of grapefruit and wild thyme and discover that wild thyme isn’t just an ingredient, it’s a promise!  Softens skin, then melts hearts.  Grapefruity scent with a little grr-r.  No parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals.  Never ever tested on animals.  No way!

güd is the groovier, cheeful-packaging, hipper-looking range from the popular drugstore brand - Burt's Bees.  It launched a while back, and I have tried - and liked - the shampoo and conditioner.  Recently, I got to try güd body lotions, and the one I am reviewing today is the güd Red Ruby Groovy body lotion.  Packaged in bright white and reddish orange colors, this body lotion boasts the moisturizing goodness of shea butter mixed with the lively scent of grapefruit and thyme for fresh, hydrated skin.

While I love the packaging and the actual plant extracts and moisturizing ingredients added into this lotion, I do find this quite light, especially on my superdry skin.  The body lotion does moisturize - very lightly - but I find the little effect that it has completely gone by the end of the day.  Not good for someone like me who has itchy dry skin!  The product is also quite heavily fragranced - a citrusy scent that ties in well with the grapefruit theme but might be a bit too heavy and will definitely clash with any perfume that one might want to wear.  Overall, a better option perhaps for those with normal/dry skin or if the place you stay in has higher humidity levels.
