Benefit High Beam Highlighter - Photos, Swatches, Review, FOTD
Benefit High Beam ($26) is an ethereal pink liquid highlighter that creates a radiantly dewy complexion.
For an angelic sheen, this pink shimmering lotion adds a soft, natural afterglow.
I got the Benefit High Beam highlighter as part of an older Feelin' Cheeky makeup set (also had Benefit's Posietint and Benetint in it).  I don't have much love for highlighters because, yes, they add shine - something my oily-combination skin doesn't need more of - but most also have chunkier shimmer particles that just help magnifying every little pit and pore on my face!  Benefit High Beam, though, isn't anything like that.  This is an easy-to-use thick silvery pink liquid that comes with a handy brush applicator (looks very much like a nail polish brush).

To use, dot Benefit High Beam using the brush applicator and blend with fingers.  You can use another brush to blend it in, but I find fingers easier.  The creamy formula almost melts into the skin leaving behind only a pink-hued sheen.  In the swatch below, I have used a much heavier swatch.  On my face, I would use much less since my skin has it's own little highlighting show happening most days.  Also, I apply this only on outer edges of my cheek bone since I do have uneven skin and visible pores towards the top of the my cheeks.

With the cooler fall weather here, I have been trying out quite a few highlighters.  Benefit's High Beam is definitely one of my favorites, and I like to pair this with berry/pink-based blushes.  I love how easy it is to use, and a little dot goes a long way with this product (at least for me), so the teeny little bottle I have should last me a while.
