Diesel Loverdose Eau de Parfum

Diesel Loverdose Eau de Parfum - Womens Fragrance - Review
Diesel Loverdose

Like a lot of the perfumes that I review on this blog, Diesel Loverdose Eau de Parfum is a Sephora GWP from ages back.  The purple heart-shaped glass bottle is pretty much the same as what the original/regular-size looks like, but of course, mine is just a dab-dab bottle..and maybe that's a good thing.  I got it some time in the summer, took one whiff of the "overdose" and tossed it aside.  Now that the weather is cooler, and I am starting to layer and bundle up more, I decided to give this another try...

Loverdose is a spicy, heady, strong perfume, so if like me you tend to read the name as Overdose or Love Overdose, you won't be very wrong :P  And as if that wasn't enough for me to form an opinion, I read over at Fragrantica that this perfume allegedly contains molecules that stimulate the parts of the brain that are responsible for attraction and lust!  Oh well, this one time, they sure got it all right with the publicity info :D  Anyway, despite what I might have painted this to be, Diesel Loverdose is quite wearable when used in moderation.  A dab on my wrist gives a hint of smoky, spicy, citrusy warmth that seems just right for the winters.  Not surprisingly, the perfume lasts a long time on my skin.  I might not run out and buy a full-size bottle, but I definitely don't mind a dab or two on a cold winter day.  Loverdose is a strong, dark perfume, and it might not be for everyone, but do give it a try - just a small spritz - the next time you see it at a counter :)

  1. I love the bottle and if I buy it, it would just be for the heart shaped purple bottle :D
