|Burberry Nail Polish - Mink (No 105)|
It's been a while since I did a nail polish post, mostly because it has been a while since I actually bothered to put on a nail polish. Yes, I am that girl who has a miniature stockpile of polishes but walks around with nekkid bare nails :-| Anywho, the color I have on today is one from Burberry - Mink. A perfect neutral, this is a light taupey brown color that leans a bit greyish green depending on the light.
There is a lot I like about Burberry polishes. I love the smooth, opaque formula (well, except Burberry Oxblood) that goes on without any streaks and dries superfast. The flat brush design also helps with the nonstreaky application. Burberry Mink too has the same fabulous formula, opaque in 2 coats but can be used as a slightly sheer single coat too. It dries to touch in no time, but I would recommend a top coat to keep the glossy finish intact.
Going by all the backstage photos from the recent Autumn/Winter 2014 fashions shows, clean neutral nails (and makeup) are going to be a really popular trend to look forward to this year. While fall 2014 is still a long time away, Burberry Mink nail polish is definitely the sort of sophisticated neutral that would be perfect for any time of the year.
