India Circus by Krsna Mehta

India Circus is a contemporary design label offering affordable and sophisticated designs by renowned designer Krsna Mehta, Design Director of India Circus. The collections offer various life-style products, ranging from home decor to personal accessories. Drawing inspiration from the flora & fauna as well as the rich heritage of India, we seek to bring to you a range of products right from home decor to personal accessories that is flavoured with the Indian aesthetic.

I came across India Circus a while back when I saw it mentioned on a couple of Indian blogs that I follow.  The name was intriguing enough for me to want to check out the website, and sure enough, they do seem to carry some really interesting products.  The brand has a mix of lifestyle and decor items as well as some fun accessories such as wallets, watches, bags, and other cool knick knacks. When I got a chance to try up a few items from the website, I decided to go with something I actually would put to good use, so I (finally) got a cover for my Samsung S4 and some coffee mugs. Odd choice for a beauty blogger, I suppose, but to be fair, I rarely post anything any more :P :P  Anywho, just wanted to share a few photos of some goodies I received thanks to the folks at India Circus.

Namaste Black Skyline Cover for Ssamsung S4 (Rs. 599)
I have been using this cover for a while now - dropped the phone a couple of times (no, not for testing), and I have been quite lucky since the cover seems to be holding up pretty well so far :D

This particular model seems to be out of stock currently, but there are a whole lot of newer designs, available for both Samsung as well as Iphones.

I also picked up these coffee mugs - microwaveable bone china - Stars of The Nawab (Rs. 439 each on sale) While the label says "coffee mug," I am more of a tea person, and the generously sized mugs are perfect for chai time.  I also saw these newly launched glass mugs, and now I want those!

There are a couple of things I really liked about this brand.  First off, I love the designs.  The mix of traditional and modern is done just right.  Whatever I got (and have seen in stores) has been all well made - the phone cover looks as good as new despite being constantly thrown around in my overcrowded bag.  I haven't yet bought anything else from this brand, but they do have some fun accessories that I am adding to my wishlist.  Especially looking forward to the footwear range which might be launching some time soon.  Also, unlike a lot of websites that seem to specialize in photoshopped-to-perfection photos which may or may not look like the real thing, I was quite surprised to see that a lot of the products are actually even better than what the photos on the site show them to be.  A lot of the products from the home decor range are also available in Westside stores, and they are fabulous.

I got these delivered via Fedex, and the shipping seems to be quite fast and the delivery hassle-free.  I have never been at home to sign for these deliveries, and the Fedex guys always call and confirm before leaving the parcels with anyone else.  I was provided these products free of charge, and I did not place an order on the website or have to deal with customer service or returns, so I am not sure how hassle-free that might be.
