Multi-tasking makeup products are always a favorite with me, especially for travel or carrying around in the bag, and Stila Convertible Colors are a perfect example.  A cream blush and lip color in one, Stila Convertible Colors are sheer cream tints that add a natural glow to the cheeks while giving a soft hint of color to the lips.  The color I am reviewing today is Peony.  I have had a deluxe sample of this for more than a year and recently received a full-size version courtesy of the folks at Ulta Beauty and People Stylewatch.  Scroll on for more photos, swatches, and review.

Stila Convertible Colors are housed in light plastic compacts with a pretty floral design embossed over the case.  The compact also has a mirror inside to help with touch-ups/applications on the go. The consistency is quite creamy which makes it easy to apply, either with a stippling or paddle brush or even with fingers.  As you can probably tell by the photos, I have used a stippling brush most times that I have applied this blush.   Peony is a soft, neutral dusty pink shade.  It's perfect for light to medium complexions, and on my skin (leans medium-dark), it shows up as a very soft flush of warm pink color.  Here's a look at the swatches.

Wearing Stila Convertible Color in Peony as a blush and dabbed on to the lips.

Stila Convertible Color in Peony is a good pick for an easy to wear/blend cream cheek color, especially if you are in the light to medium skin-tone category.  Even on my darker skin, it does show up as a neutral-warm pink, but it is more obvious in real life than in photos.  I prefer softer blush colors and simpler makeup looks, so this works for me, but if you prefer bolder colors, then I would suggest something brighter from the Stila Convertible Color line-up like Poppy or Sweet Pea.  Used as a cheek product - cream blush - Peony lasts through most of the day but would need to be reapplied on warmer days.  A tip to get this to last longer is to apply the color in thin layers, work into the skin, and then add in more color if required.  You can also set it with a light dusting of powder, though I quite like the dewy finish it leaves so I don't use a powder over this.  As a lip product, the color falls into the nude-neutral category for me, and while I do appreciate having the option of using it as a lip color in a pinch, I much prefer using it as a cream blush only.
