Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Comforting Body Polisher ($50) Product provided for review |
This scrub is pretty much perfection in a tub. The texture is just right - enough exfoliation from smooth sugar and black vanilla grains, and the mixture holds together well without falling apart and creating a mess on the floor. The olive oil in the scrub helps the exfoliating grains move smoothly and leaves skin feeling smooth and nourished but doesn't leave behind any visible greasy film, and the scrub itself washes off quite easily. My skin feels smooth, and a soft comforting fragrance lingers on close to the skin. I have extremely dry skin, so I prefer using a moisturizer after this, but it's not essential. What I like the best, though, about the scrub is that it doesn't leave much of an oily, slippery film on the bath floor for me to clean up right away (I still have to, but it can wait until after my nap).

Hi Radhika.. Oil residue on bath floor.. I totally get it! I hate clearing it after all the pampering. Btw this body polish sounds interesting. How do u compare it with The Body Shop body polishes? I don't like them much as the exfoliating grains are too mild for my liking.
ReplyDeleteHi Eesha! Much better, though of course, two different price points. With the TBS ones, I find them either too greasy (and a mess on the floor) or not moisturizing enough - though I still like to pick up some during sales :D :D
