Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($49) at Sephora |
Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette is not a new launch - it was released around spring-summer earlier this year - but it is now available again as part of the Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection. The palette features 18 eyeshadows, all infused with the juicy scent and antioxidant-rich essence of peaches. The colors included are a lovely mix of pale creams, gorgeous peaches and corals, rich bronze, and deep purples and browns. I tried this palette in store and didn't notice the peach scent. I didn't try smelling the palette, though - I don't mind swatching testers, but I do draw the line at sniffing them 😐. It's definitely a pretty palette, with a charming peach-colored tin packaging, and the eyeshadows housed inside are just as pretty. Scroll on for swatches.
Overall, I think the Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette is a lovely palette. There is a good mix of matte and shimmer as well as softer neutrals and darker shades. The eyeshadows are reasonably pigmented - I have swatched on dry skin, and they show up quite well on my medium-dark skin tone. There are some warm browns in there which would work great as transition shades, and I do think most of these shades will perform well over a primer. The palette is great for someone who likes softer neutral shades but also likes to try out the occasional smokey eye, and the mix of colors in this palette would work for any time of the year.
The palette is scented - though I didn't check the smell in store - and if you have a sensitive nose, do check before buying (or pick it up from some place with a good return policy).
